Ribs and Peaches

Prep Time: 10 minutes , Cook Time: 8 to 10 hours , Serves: 4 to 6

INGREDIENTS:

1.8 kg boneless pork spareribs

1 can (430 g) spiced cling peaches, cubed, with juice

2 tbsps. soy sauce

60 ml ketchup

60 ml white vinegar

½ cup brown sugar

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut the ribs in serving-size pieces, in a broiler or a saucepan, add the meat and brown in the oil. Drain well and transfer into the slow cooker.

2. In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs.

3. Cover the cooker and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
